Hello, I am Louis David Truskowsky however I go by my middle name. I have always been interested in helping people. I would hang out at the firehouse since it was only a few doors down and since my dad was a firefighter, it was only natural that I would do the same. In 1993, I decided I would take the next step and become an EMT (Emergency Medical Technician). I belonged to Sheppton Onieda Ambulance as well as Ringtown Ambulance were I served a stint as Vice President. I also ran with Mahanoy City EMS for 6 years were I gained much of my experience as an EMT. I had also worked for Frackville Ambulance for several years and Penn State Hazleton as an EMT. Since 1996 to present, I had served as Assistant Chief for many years before I served as President at the Shenandoah Ambulance. My home Fire Company is the West End Fire and Rescue of Mahanoy City were I have been an Engineer for over 12 years and now serve as Lieutenant and President.
I was born and raised at the funeral home. Because of that I have much experience in my family business. There is much history in Mahanoy City as well as with my family business.I take what I do very seriously and I put my heart and soul into serving my families. I also look for new and better services to provide those that I serve. It is my goal to really make a difference to those in need.
In 2024 I married my wife SSG Emily (Davidson) Truskowsky.
-1992 - Graduated from Marian High School Tamaqua.
-1995 - Graduated from Penn State University with an associates degree in Science.
-1996 - Graduated from Simmons Institute of Mortuary Science in Syracuse NY.
-1991 - 1998 Specialist/Machinest in the Pa National Guard 104th Aviation.
-1993 - Present. Is an active Emergency Medical Technician.
-1993 - Present. Red Cross CPR/Emergency Response Instructor.
-1987 - Present. Active rescue SCUBA Diver, Rescue Technician, pro board certified in Haz-Mat ops, General Rescue core, and Vehicle Rescue, and Trench Rescue, and a Fire Fighter West End Fire and Rescue.
-1996 - Present. FAA Licensed Private Pilot.
-2000 - Present. Schuylkill County Deputy Coroner.
-2006 - Present. Owner of Doves of White a white dove release business, enhancing graveside services, weddings, etc...
