Joseph Katchmaric, 83, of Hopatcong, NJ, formerly Mahanoy City, passed away Monday, April 13th, in New Jersey.
Joseph was born in Mahanoy City, PA on July 4, 1931, a son of the late Mary (Singlar) and Joseph Katchmaric.
He was a member of Blessed Teresa of Calcutta Parish Mahanoy City.
He served in the U.S. Navy in the Korean War.
Joseph had work for the PA. Dept of Unemployment.
Mahanoy City High School Class of 1949
Preceded in death by brothers Leonard, and Robert.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Blessed Teresa of Calcutta Parish, Mahanoy City, PA, at 1PM on Sunday, April 19th, with Rev. Kevin P. Gallagher officiating.
Friends may call Sunday 12 Noon Blessed Teresa of Calcutta Parish.
Interment will take place in the Assumption BVM Cemetery Mahanoy City.
