William Walsh, 86, of Shenandoah Heights, PA, passed away Friday, March 18th, at Shenandoah Senior Living Community.

William was born in Shenandoah, PA on October 24, 1935, a son of the late Elizabeth (Shallack) and William Walsh.

He graduated from West Mahanoy Twp High School class of 1955.

William was a member of Divine Mercy Shenandoah Parish.

He served in the U.S. Navy.

William was a Drag Line Oiler and Dozer operator at Reading Anthracite.

He loved Casino's and was forever a Cleveland Browns Fan.

William was the husband of Diane (Yanonis) Walsh for 52 years.

William is survived by a daughter, Robin Walsh, of Valdosta GA., three sons Kevin Walsh, of Mahanoy City; William A., husband of  Kim Walsh, of Barnesville; Brian, husband of  Cathy Walsh, of Catawissa; and by 3 Grandchildren Sean, Tevin, and Taylor.

William is preceded in death by a brother Gerard.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Divine Mercy, Shenandoah, at 10 AM on Thursday, March 24th, with Monsignor Ronald C. Bocian officiating.

Friends and family may call Thursday 9 AM at Divine Mercy Parish Shenandoah.

Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery Mahanoy City, PA.
