Virginia Stremba, 86, of Mahanoy City, PA, passed away Monday, July 4th, at Geisinger Medical Center Danville.
Virginia was born in Mahanoy City, PA on September 18, 1929, a daughter of the late Mary (Rojanski) and Joseph Repella.
She attended Local Schools.
She was a member of St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church Mahanoy City.
Virginia had worked for many years at Russell Williams Dress Co. Mahanoy City.
She was a member of the Woman's Club and various Church groups.
She was wife of the late Julius Stremba.
Virginia is survived by two sons Joseph Marcurio, of North Carolina; Michael Marcurio, of Mahanoy City; two sisters, Katherine Bolish, of Mahanoy City; Elizabeth Yanchus, of NJ. three brothers, William Repella, of Georgia; Robert Repella, of Mahanoy City; Theodore Repella, of Sheppton; and by 2 Grandchildren Tiffany and Ryan.
She is preceded in death by Brothers Albert, Stephen, Nicholas, Paul and Joseph Jr., and Sisters Olga Repella, Patricia Ann Repella, Anna Klitsch and Christine Uber.
Office of Christian Burial will be held at 10 am at the Louis D. Truskowsky Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Mahanoy City, PA, with Father James Carroll officiating.
Friends may call Friday July 8th from 6 to 8 pm, and Saturday July 9th, from 9 am at the Funeral Home.
Interment will be in St. Mary's Byzantine Cemetery Mahanoy City, PA.
