Victoria "Vicki" Slatick, 77, of Mahanoy City, PA, passed away Saturday, September 2nd, at Shenandoah Senior Living Community, Shenandoah.

Vicki was born in Mahanoy City, PA on September 6, 1939, a daughter of the late Helen (Recklitis) and Walter Bugdanewicz.

She was a member of Saint Teresa of Calcutta Parish Mahanoy City.

Vicki worked as Nurses Aid at the former Locust Mountain and Broad Mountain Manor. She also worked for many years at the Mahanoy City Cigar Factory, and the Mahanoy City Rite Aide.

She was the wife of Andrew "Butch" Slatick.

Vicki is survived by a daughter, Dianna, wife of William Neiswender, of Shenandoah; three sons Vincent, husband of  Stephanie Forte, of Minersville; Robert, husband of  Harriet Forte, of Mahanoy City; Nicholas Forte, of Mahanoy City; and by three brothers, Andrew "Andy" Bugdanavage, of Tamaqua; Walter Jr. Bugdanavage, of Pottsville; Vincent "Billy" Recklitis, of Shenandoah, and 8 Grandchildren, and 3 Step Grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Saint Teresa of Calcutta Parish, Mahanoy City, PA, at 10 am on Friday, September 8th, with Rev. Kevin P. Gallagher officiating.

Friends may call Thursday from 6 to 8 pm, and Friday 9 am at the Louis D. Truskowsky Funeral Home & Crematory Inc. Mahanoy City.
