Theresa C. Ney of Brandonville died unexpectedly Thursday afternoon at the Schuylkill Medical Center East in Pottsville. Theresa was the daughter of the later Alexander and Connie Matusick Schipin .

She lived her entire life in Brandonville, attended Mahanoy Twp High School and had worked for "Skippy Shoes" in Hazleton. She was a member of St. Mary RC Church in Ringtown.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Paul C. Ney March 9, 2008 , by a brother Alex Schipin and by sisters Florence Obzut, Marie Shoup and Helen Lorenz.

She is survived by a son Gary Ney by a daughter Karen wife of Jack Possessky and their daughters Jennafer, Carlie and Jacalyn Possessky all of Brandonville.

Friends may call Monday 11 am at the Louis D. Truskowsky Funeral Home and Crematory Mahanoy City. Mass of Christian Burial is at 1 pm in St. Mary Church in Ringtown.
