Stephen Harach, 67, of Mahanoy City, PA, passed away Thursday, December 17th, peacefully, at his residence.
Stephen was born in Mahanoy City, PA on January 10, 1948, a son of the late Mary (Ludinsky) and Joseph Harach.
He was of the Catholic faith.
Stephen served in the U.S. Navy in the Vietnam War.
He worked as a Car Salesman.
Was an active member and loved his American Legion Post 74 in Mahanoy City.
He was a graduate of the Mahanoy Area Class of 1965.
Stephen is survived by a daughter, Stephanie Harach, of North Highland Calif; a son, Michael Harach, of North Highland Calif. Stephen is also survived by four sisters, Dorothy Milukas, of Lancaster; Rosalie Fink, of Elizabethtown KY; Julianne Sharp, of Cadillac MI; Kathryn Hagenbuch, of California, four brothers, Donald, of New Holland PA; Thomas, of Newark Delaware; Charles, of Lancaster; Edward, of Lancaster; and by 6 Grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by brothers James and Joseph.
Friends may call Sunday January 3rd, from 2-4 PM at the funeral home in Mahanoy City.
Interment will be in the National Cemetery Fort Indiantown Gap Annville, PA. Monday January 4th, at 11:30am.
