Stephanie "Steph" Siliekus, 28, of Mahanoy City, passed away Tuesday.
Steph was born in Mahanoy City, May 14, 1984, a daughter of Michael and Donna Motsko Siliekus, Mahanoy City.
She was a member of Blessed Teresa of Calcutta Parish, Mahanoy City.
A 2002 graduate of Mahanoy Area High School, Steph worked at Cinema and Draft House, Hazleton, where she was a special events coordinator. She also worked in the pharmacy at Rite Aid, Mahanoy City.
She was very well known and was loved by many. She was a happy and very charismatic person. In school, Steph loved track, softball, cross country and basketball (Lady Bears). She was also a coach for the Mahanoy City Girls Softball League.
Surviving, in addition to her parents, are brothers, Michael, Barnesville, and his fiancee, Dawn, and Christopher, Conyngham, who is serving in Kuwait; a sister, Donnamichelle Siliekus, Reading, and her fiance, Ralph Rondeau; nieces, Courtney May and Mackenzie Siliekus; and a nephew, Logan Siliekus.
Religious service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Louis D. Truskowsky Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Mahanoy City, with the Rev. Kevin P. Gallagher officiating. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday and from 9 a.m. until the time of services Monday at the funeral home. Interment will be in the German Protestant Cemetery, Mahanoy City, where a white dove will be released in her memory.
