Obituary

Stanley Bevan, 79, of Frackville, PA, passed away Friday, February 1st, peacefully, at his residence.

Stan was born in Gilberton, PA on June 10, 1939, a son of the late Nellie (White) and Jack Bevan.

He was a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church Frackville.

Stan had graduated from Gilberton High School class of 1957.

He served in the U.S. Army.

He worked as an Electrician for Fischer & Porter, Warminster. Also worked for Schoenemans Beauty Supply , Pottsville as a truck driver.

Stan belonged to the Frackville VFW, Knights of Columbus.

He was the husband of the late Evelyn (Adzentoivich) Bevan.

Stan is survived by a son, Stanley, and his companion Matt Cooper, of Frackville; and a sister, Patsy Walsh, of NJ.

He is preceded in death by brothers Rich and Jack.

Religious Service will be held at the Louis D. Truskowsky Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Mahanoy City, PA, at 10:30 am on Saturday, February 9th, with Father Brian Miller officiating.

Friends may call Saturday from 9 to 10:30 am at the funeral home.

Interment will take place at Skyview Memorial Park Tamaqua, PA.
