Ruth E. Wirtz, 66, of Mahanoy City, PA, passed away Tuesday, March 24th, peacefully, at her residence.

Ruth was born in Shenandoah, PA on September 14, 1948, a daughter of the late Ruth (Bright) and Nelson Schuetrum.

She was of member of the former Grace Reform UCC Church.

She worked at the former City Shirt Mahanoy City.

Attended Shenandoah Schools.

Ruth was a proud member of the Good American Fire Company Mahanoy City and also served as a Fire Police with the Department.

She was the wife of Allen Wirtz.

Ruth is survived by a daughter, Sherri, wife of Patrick Rudloff, of Mahanoy City;
two sons Ray Jr, husband of Nicole Shoup, of Pottsville; Keith Shoup, of Turkey Run, by three sisters, Donna Ford, of Shenandoah; Darlene Wonderlick, of Goose Creek SC; Candi Hemerick, of Ringtown four brothers, Rodger, of Fountain Springs; Nelson, of Friedensburg; Richard, of Mahanoy City; Scott, of Turkey Run.
She is also survived by 8 Grandchildren, 9 Great Grandchildren.

Religious Service will be held at Louis D. Truskowsky Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Mahanoy City, PA, at 2 PM on Saturday, March 28th, with Reverend John Reid officiating.

Friends may call from Saturday 1 PM at the Funeral.

Family prefers donations to the Good American Fire Company Mahanoy City.

Interment private at convenience of the Family.
