Ruth Irene Setcavage, 65, of 202 W. Spruce St., Mahanoy City, died
unexpectedly Friday morning at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown.
Born
in Lancaster, Nov. 27, 1942, she was a daughter of the late Benjamin
and Ruth Richmond Fegley. She lived most of her life in Mahanoy City,
and graduated from Mahanoy City High School in 1960.
She had been an agent with Prudential Insurance and last worked for Hilton Reservations Worldwide, Hazleton.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Mahanoy City.
She had organized the Brian Setcavage Memorial Fund and the Home Run Derby.
She
was preceded in death by a son, Charles Setcavage, on June 11, 2004,
and a grandson, Brian Setcavage, on July 16, 2006. Brian was Charles'
son.
Surviving are her husband, Eugene Setcavage; two sons,
Curtis Setcavage and Chris Setcavage, at home; a daughter, Lori
Setcavage, Shenandoah; a brother, Kenneth Fegley, Barnesville; four
grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held
11 a.m. Tuesday from Louis D. Truskowsky Funeral Home Inc., Mahanoy
City, with Rev. Fred Crawford officiating. Friends may call from 6 to 8
p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Sky-View Memorial
Park, Hometown, where a
white dove
will be released at the graveside in
her memory.
