Ruth Dunsavage, 89, of Allentown formerly of Mahanoy City, passed away Wednesday, January 7th, at Lehigh Valley Hospital Cedar Crest.

Ruth was born in Mahanoy City, PA on March 25, 1925, a daughter of the late Marie (Lieberman) and Harvey Hinkle.

She was a member of Grace United Church of Christ Mahanoy City

Ruth was a member of the Ladies of Grace Mahanoy City.

Graduated from Mahanoy City High School Class of 1942.

She was wife of the late Michael who died in 1976.

Ruth is survived by two daughters, Jayne R., wife of James Mellen with whom she resided, of Allentown; Deborah, wife of Richard Kerrick, of Allentown.

Ruth is also survived by Grandchildren Michelle Lysykanycz, Richard Kerrick II, James Mellen Jr., and great grandchildren Courtney Lysykanycz, William and Richard Kerrick III, Matthew and Ava Mellen, and her faithful canine companion Sadie. Nieces and Nephews.

She is preceded in death by her sister Lois Stitzer.

Services will be private. Interment will be in the German Protestant Cemetery Association Mahanoy City, PA.
