Rosemary Polusky, 80, of Morea, passed away Thursday at Hometown Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Tamaqua.
Born in Mahanoy City, Sept. 7, 1929, she was a daughter of the late John and Helen Plasky Budrow.
She graduated from Mahanoy City High School.
She had worked at Atlas Powder Co., South Tamaqua, and for Lavis Catering, Bloomsburg.
She was a member of Blessed Teresa of Calcutta Parish, Mahanoy City. She also belonged to the Magdaline Society of the former St. Joseph Church.
She was the widow of Edward J. Polusky. She was also preceded in death by brothers, John, in World War II, and Norbert, in 2006; a sister, Dorothy Kutz, in 2008.
Surviving are a son, Edward Polusky, Morea; two grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Blessed Teresa of Calcutta Parish, Mahanoy City. Friends may call at 9 a.m. Tuesday at Louis D. Truskowsky Funeral Home Inc., Mahanoy City. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery Mahanoy City, where a white dove will be released in her memory.
