Obituary
Mrs. Rose Mary Wesner, 80, of Gilberton. passed away Friday, May 27th, 2011 at Schuylkill Medical Center South Jackson, Pottsville, PA.
Mrs. Wesner was born in Lavelle, PA on September 12, 1930, the daughter of the late Samuel and Alice (Hepler) Weikel.
She had lived in Gilberton most of her life but lived for the past few years in Mahanoy City and Frackville.
She was of the protestant faith
She enjoyed playing "Secret Word" Loved to Crochet, and picking huckleberries.
She was preceded in death by husband Earl Wesner.
Survived by daughter Debra Coleman Wife of John of Maple Hill, and brother Albert "Babe" Weikel of Ashland.
Survived also by Special Niece Margaret "Snooky" Becka and her husband Louis, Virginia, and her best friend and Beloved grand daughter Cheyenne.
Preceded in death by Sons Earl Benjamin Wesner Jr., Donald Earl Wesner. And brothers Wade, Chester, William, Robert, Donald, John, Frank, Russell, Henry, and sisters Shirley, Joanne, Lois, Geraldine, and Jean. Also by an uncle PVT Henry Weikel who was killed in action in WW1 in 1918 and was recently found in France and brought home in 2010
Religious Service at Louis D. Truskowsky Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Mahanoy City, PA, at 10AM on Wednesday, June 1st, with Rev John Reid officiating.
Friend may call Wednesday 9 - 10 AM. at the Louis D. Truskowsky Funeral Home & Crematory Inc. Mahanoy City.
Interment will take place in Odd Fellows Cemetery Frackville.
