Rose Mary Lukach, age 88 of the Hometown Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, formerly of East Pine Street, Mahanoy City, died Tuesday morning at St. Luke's Hospital-Miners Campus, Coaldale.
Rose was born in Mahanoy City to the late Ferdinand and Mary Amadio Traini and was a graduate of Mahanoy City High School class of 1942. She had been an employee of City Shirt for 55 years and was a member of Blessed Teresa of Calcutta parish in Mahanoy City.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Stephen in 1996 and a brother Dr. Anthony Traini in 1958.
Surviving are a son Stephen, Clerk of Courts, a daughter-in-law Teri Nesquehoning , a brother Louis Traini of Norristown and grand sons Stephen III and Charlene and Bradley James and Holly and several nieces and nephews.
A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday in Blessed Teresa of Calcutta parish at 11am.
Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
