Robert Yeager, 67, formerly of Frackville, PA, passed away Tuesday, August 13th, suddenly, at his residence in Branch Township.
Born on February 7, 1952, he was the son of the late Clarence Yeager and Anna Pavlishin.
Robert was a 1971 graduate of North Schuylkill High School. He was a member of Friedens Lutheran Church, a member of the Second Mountain Rod & Gun Club, previously a member of the Schuylkill County Corvette Club, and formerly a member of the Frackville Elks.
A certified master mechanic, Robert was the current owner of Yeager's Restoration. An ambitious man, he was previously employed by Blaschak Coal, Geupel Const., CLS Coal Co., Doli Const., Mazzucca Ent.; a member of the Heavy Equipment Operating Engineers Local 542, Reading. Robert was also proudly an elected Branch Township Supervisor for six years.
His passion for cars, most notably Corvettes, Harleys, and anything automotive, extended into every facet of his life.
Surviving are his beloved wife, Barbara Peel Yeager, affectionately known by him as his 'Dolly', formerly of Mahanoy City, a daughter, Kendall Peel (his KD), of Philadelphia, a daughter Jenna Yeager, of New York City; a sister, Sandra Usalis, of Autryville, NC., a brother, Gene Yeager, and his wife, Jeannie, of Sacramento, CA., a sister, Kathy, and her husband, Tom Gwiazdowski, of Hamburg; many treasured nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Michael and Fanny Pavlishin; his Uncle Michael Pavlishin.
Friends may call Sunday from 5-8:00PM and Monday 9-10:30AM at the Mahal-Ritzel Funeral Home, Inc., 104 South 4th Street, Minersville.
A Funeral service will be held at Friedens Lutheran Church, Pottsville, PA, at 11AM on Monday, August 19th, with Pastor Brian Beissel officiating.
