Mr. Robert Mesch, 80, of Laurel Ridge Frackville passed away Saturday, November 12th, 2011 at Schuylkill Medical Center East Norwegian, Pottsville, PA.

Mr. Mesch was born in Morea, PA on January 19, 1931, the son of the late John and Leocadia (Mreese) Mesch.

He was a member of Blessed Teresa of Calcutta Parish Mahanoy City, PA. and the former St. Casimir Church.

He served in the U.S. Air Force in the Korean War.

He worked as a Surveyor for the state of Pennsylvania, and worked for Buckeye Pipeline in Ohio.

He Loved God and Family. He was a daily mass communicant

Graduated from Mahanoy Township High Class of 1948

He is survived by sisters Lee Spock wife of Dr. Nicholas Spock of Overlook., Joan Trakes Wife of the late Frank of Frackville., Mary Varese wife of Joseph of Madison WI.
and a brother John of Allentown.


Survived also by Nieces and Nephews. Preceded in death by brothers Joseph and Michael.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at at Blessed Teresa of Calcutta Parish, Mahanoy City, PA, at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, November 16th, with Father Robert Finlan officiating.

Friends may call Wednesday 9:15 AM at Blessed Teresa of Calcutta Parish until time of mass.

Interment will be in St. Casimir Cemetery where a White Dove will be released in his memory.

Family prefers donations be made to the Frackville Public Library or the Charity of your choice in Roberts name.
