Pearl Scheeler, 82, of Mahanoy City, passed away Sunday, December 28th, at Schuylkill Medical Center East Norwegian Pottsville.
Pearl was born in Mahanoy City, PA on November 30, 1932, a daughter of the late Mary (Shemansky) and Michael Kohan.
She was a member of St Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church Mahanoy City, .
She had worked for City Shirt Mahanoy City.,
Pearl loved to read. She also loved Penn State. Most of all she loved her Grandchildren.
She graduated from Mahanoy City High School Class of 1950
She was the wife of the late Roland Scheeler, and her companion the late Jack Brinsko
Pearl is survived by five sons Ronald, husband of Mary Catherine, of Marlton, NJ; Jeffery, husband of Alyse, of East Lyme CT; David, husband of Wanda, of Sunbury; Thomas, husband of Susan, of Mahanoy City; Timothy, husband of Beth, of Mahanoy City; a sister, Patricia Bennett, of Springboro Ohio. And sister-in-laws Mary Kohan and Patricia Wilinsky.
Pearl is also survived by 11 Grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter, nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by brothers Michael Kohan and Thomas Wilinsky
Office of Christian Burial at St Mary's Byzantine Church, Mahanoy City, at 10:30 AM on Saturday, January 3rd, with Jim Carroll officiating.
Friends may call Saturday 9AM at St Church.
Interment will be in the German Protestant Cemetery Mahanoy City.
