Obituary
Paul Campbell, 92, of Mahanoy City, PA, passed away Monday, June 27th, at Lehigh Valley Medical Center, Allentown.
Paul was born in Jacksons, PA on February 23, 1924, a son of the late Edna (Hoffman) and John Campbell.
He was a member of First United Methodist Mahanoy City.
Mahanoy Twp High School Class of 1942.
He served in the Navy and was a veteran of the Second World War. He was present on board the USS Missouri during the signing of the Japanese Surrender.
He was the husband of the late Alice (Boyer) Campbell.
Paul is survived by two daughters, Linda, wife of Francis Senglar, of Hills Terrace;
Jacquelyn, wife of Edward Tobin. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren Dina Hernandez, Francis and Brian Senglar, Shawn Tobin, and Erin Mussoline. 6 great grandchildren Ryan, Francis T., Kelsey, Kaylee Senglar, Austin Tobin and Jordan Mussoline.
Paul is preceded in death by brother George and a sister Margaret Mazur.
Services for Paul will be on Saturday July 9th 10 am to 11 am at the First United Methodist Church 4th and Mahanoy Street Mahanoy City. 11 am will be a short church service and then private burial for family only at the cemetery.
