Paul Babinsky, 75, of Mahanoy City, PA, passed away Thursday, November 20th, at Geisinger Medical Center Danville.

Paul was born in Mahanoy City, PA on July 13, 1939, a son of the late Helen (Stief) and Joseph Babinsky.

He was a member of St. Richards Church Barnesville.

He served in the U.S. Army.

Paul was the owner of Bobs Rug Laundry for 35 years and was a bus driver for Mahanoy Area School District. He also worked for J.D. Trucking in McAdoo.

He had belonged to the Good American Fire Company Mahanoy City and was the current secretary and long time past president. He also filmed for Marian High School football games for 30 years and currently filmed for the Mahanoy Area Junior High School football program.

Paul was a graduate of the former Immaculate Heart High School Class of 1957

He at one time was married to the former Anna Marie Chowanes. He is survived by companion Karen Belfiore of Mahanoy City and her daughters Amanda and Angela.

Paul is survived by a daughter, Kathy, wife of Joe Antol, of New York City.

a son Paul, husband of Colleen Babinsky, of Barnesville; and by 5 Grandchildren Katie, Megan, John, Allyson, and Kelly.

Preceded in death by brothers Joseph, John and sisters Madeline Witconis, Frances Williams, and Barbara Babinsky.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St Richards Church, Barnesville, at 10 AM on Tuesday, November 25th, with Father Joseph Whalen officiating.

Friends may call Monday 6 to 8 PM. and Tuesday 9 AM. at the Louis D. Truskowsky Funeral Home & Crematory Inc. Mahanoy City.

Family prefers donations to Marian High School, Mahanoy Area Theatre Arts, Mahanoy Football Alumni club or the Good American Hose Company.

Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
