Olga Boris, 90, of Shenandoah Manor Nursing Center, Shenandoah, formerly of 381 Roosevelt Drive, New Boston, Mahanoy City, died Saturday morning at Pottsville Hospital.

Born in Trenton, Delano Township, she was a daughter of the late Sylvester and Theresa Swaika Chrusch. She attended Delano schools.

She was a member of St. Casimir Roman Catholic Church, Mahanoy City. She was a member of Paris Holy Rosary Society, Mahanoy Area Senior Citizens and Mahanoy Area Golden Age Club.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Boris, on Dec. 31, 1978; brothers, Harry, Wassel, Stephen, John and Samuel Chrusch; sisters, Anna Schwartz and Julia Fronczak.

Surviving are a son, Joseph Robert Boris and his wife, Susy, Shenandoah; a daughter, Roseann and her husband, Daniel Markiewicz, Mahanoy City; four grandsons; five great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Louis D. Truskowsky Funeral Home Inc., Mahanoy City location. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2 p.m. at St. Casimir Church. Interment will be in the parish cemetery, Mahanoy City, where a white dove will be released at the grave side in her memory.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Her family prefers memorial donations to Relay for Life c/o "City Shirt Tails," which may be made at the funeral home.
