Morris "Butch" Seabra, 69, of Mahanoy City, PA, passed away Saturday, April 6th, suddenly, at his residence.
Morris was born in Mahanoy City, PA on April 15, 1943, a son of the late Mary Techentin.
He was a member of St Pauls UCC in Mahanoy City.
He served in the U.S. Army. Butch served in Korea in telecommunications and was part of the DMZ..
He worked as an Industrial Electrician. He had worked for Poly Plastics, as well as Wing Foot Commercial Tire Systems in Delano, until retiring.
He had belonged to the Republican Club and the TPA. Butch was also part of the MTA Hideway club.
Graduated from Mahanoy City High School and McCanns School of Business.
He died in a fire with his wife, Adele (Zarcufsky) Seabra.
Butch is survived by four daughters, Jill Moyle Sanchez, of Shenandoah; Tori Irene Rose, of Hemet, CA; Keri Lyn Rains, of Baltimore, MD; Danielle Streisel, of Mahanoy City, and two sons Joseph Seabra, of St. Cloud, Florida; Nathanial Smith, of Mahanoy City;
He is also survived by 21 grandchildren, nieces and nephews
Religious Service at Louis D. Truskowsky Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Mahanoy City, PA, at 11 AM on Wednesday, April 10th, with Rev John Reid officiating.
