Michael Petrasky, 93, of Mahanoy City, passed away Friday at Broad Mountain Manor Nursing Home, Frackville.
Born in Mahanoy City, Aug. 30, 1916, he was the son of the late Michael and Dora Hroback Petrusky.
He was a member of St. Mary Byzantine Catholic Church, Mahanoy City.
He served in the Army in World War II.
He retired from BF Goodrich, Oaks.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Joseph Petrusha, Emil Petruska and John Petruska; and a sister, Anna Nelson.
Survivors include two sisters, Dorothy Ihant, Mahanoy City, and Patricia O'Neill, King of Prussia.
Office of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary Byzantine Catholic Church, Mahanoy City, with Father James Carroll officiating. Friends may call at the Louis D. Truskowsky Funeral Home Inc., Mahanoy City, from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday. Interment will be in St. Mary's Byzantine Cemetery Mahanoy City, where a white dove will be released in his memory.
