Obituary
Michael J. Mogish age 72, of Grier City Barnesville, died Friday morning at the home of his daughter in Lake Wynonah. Michael was born in Delano the son of the late Michael and Elizabeth Ziats Mogish and lived most of his life in Delano and Grier City.
Michael was a graduate of Mahanoy City High School and had attended Penn State University. He had worked at Service Electric Cable TV from which he retired after 50 years of service as an electronics technician.
He was a member of St. Mary Byzantine Catholic Church in Mahanoy City. He loved his Lionel trains, polkas and was proud member of the NRA.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by an infant daughter Jennifer, a brother Nicholas Mogish and a sister Helen Yulich.
He was a loving father and husband of 44 years being survived by his wife the former Rosemary Padamonsky, his daughter Jessica wife of Bob Zaretskie Jr., and his son Brian Mogish of Grier City.
His funeral will be Tuesday, Office of Christian Burial with Devine Liturgy at 11 am. at St. Mary Byzantine Church Mahanoy City. Interment in Our Lady of Fatima Cemetery in Shenandoah where a White Dove will be released in his memory.
His family prefers donations to ALS Research.
