Obituary
Mrs. Mary (Szematowicz) Macknis, 92, of Mahanoy City passed away Sunday, May 16th, 2010 at Penn Hospice Philadelphia.
She was a member of Blessed Teresa of Calcutta Parish and the former St Casimir Church where she was a long-time member of the choir and Rosary Society. She is lovingly survived by three children and eight grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Blessed Teresa of Calcutta Parish, Mahanoy City , PA , at 2pm on Thursday, May 20th. Friends may pay their respects at the church at 1pm before the Mass. Interment will be in St.Casimir Cemetery Mahanoy City.
