Miss Mary Hamera, 89, of formerly of New Boston, passed away Sunday, August 28th, at Tremont Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Miss Hamera was born in New Boston, PA on February 19, 1922, the daughter of the late John and Kathryn (Kozic) Hamera.
She was a member of St Mary Byzantine Catholic Church Mahanoy City, PA.
She worked as a Registered Nurse at Kings County Hospital Brooklyn NY.
Survived by a Nephew Robert Hamera, Hegins and Rich Hamera, Mahanoy City. Preceded in death by a brother John, and a sister Anna Hamera.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at at St Mary Byzantine Catholic Church, Mahanoy City, PA, at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, August 31st, with Father James Carroll officiating.
Friends may call Wednesday 9AM at the Louis D. Truskowsky Funeral Home & Crematory Inc. Mahanoy City.
Interment will be in St. Mary's Byzantine Cemetery Mahanoy City, where a White Dove will be released in her memory.
