Mrs. Mary Forgotch, 86, of Mahanoy City passed away Saturday, April 14th, 2012 at Shenandoah Senior Living Community, Shenandoah, PA.

Mrs. Forgotch was born in Mahanoy City, PA on May 30, 1925, the daughter of the late Adam and Catherine (Smolin) Putchaconis.

She was a member of Blessed Teresa of Calcutta Parish Mahanoy City, PA.

She loved to attend "Life Geisinger" in Kulpmont. She also loved to Crochet, Gardening especially flowers, attending West End Fire & Rescue Bingo, attending Bake Sales and especially loved Cookies. She enjoyed watching Jeopardy, Who wants to be a Millionaire and Wheel of Fortune.

Mary graduated from Mahanoy City High School in 1943

She was preceded in death by her husband Bernard Forgotch in 1982.

She is survived be sons Bernie and his wife Kathleen of Mahanoy City, Michael and his wife Donna of Jonestown, Daniel at home, and David and his wife Linda of Mount Carmel.

Survived also by grand children Brendan, David Jr., Andrew, Kristen and Lisa.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Blessed Teresa of Calcutta Parish, Mahanoy City, PA, at 10AM on Wednesday, April 18th, with Monsignor William Glosser Officiating.

Friends may call Tuesday 6 - 8 PM, and Wednesday morning 8:30 at the Louis D. Truskowsky Funeral Home & Crematory Inc. Mahanoy City.

Interment follow in the Assumption BVM Cemetery Mahanoy City, PA.
