Obituary
Martha Suritsky, 78, of Mahanoy City, passed away Sunday at Ridgeview Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center, Shenandoah.
Born in Frackville, Feb. 4, 1934, she was a daughter of the late William and Martha Farnsworth Zimmerman.
She was a member of First Congregational Church, Mahanoy City.
Martha worked at City Shirt (Elbeco) factory, Mahanoy City, for 46 years.
Martha was a kind and loving woman who helped others whenever she could.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Geri.
She is survived by her beloved daughter, Sharon Suritsky, Pittsburgh, and her companion, Jody Nagel; sisters, Dolores Zimmerman, Shenandoah, and Shirley Mendofik, Mahanoy City; brothers, Delroy Wagner and his wife, Avon, Newport, and Raymond Zimmerman, Shenandoah; a treasured granddaughter, Ema Nagel; nieces and nephews.
Religious service will be held at noon Sunday at First Congregational Church, Mahanoy City, with the Rev. Bob Adams officiating. Friends may call at 11:30 a.m. Sunday at the church. The family prefers donations to the SPCA or American Cancer Society
