Marguerite Jeanne Dennis, 87, of Mahanoy City, PA, passed away Tuesday, November 19th, at her residence in West Chester.

Marguerite was born in Mahanoy City, PA on October 2, 1926, a daughter of the late Margaret (Rosavich) and John F. Pasieka.

She was a member of Blessed Teresa of Calcutta Parish Mahanoy City.

She worked at Acme Market and the PA Discount Store Mahanoy City. And was a member of St Casimir Sodality, St. Casimir Rosary Society, and was a Den Mother for Boy Scouts Pack 54.

Marguerite had graduated from Mahanoy City High School Class of 1943

She is survived by her companion of many years Crellin Maybery.

Marguerite is survived by a daughter, Bonnie wife of John Keff, of Mahanoy City; a son, Richard Dennis and his companion Angie Merwine, of Mahanoy City;


Marguerite is also survived by three sisters, Lenore Miscannon, of Harrisburg; Kathy Pearce, of Jamison PA; Dolores Wagner, of Shartlesville.
a brother, Eugene Pasieka, of Las Vegas; and 3 grandchildren Richard M. Dennis Jr., Joshua and Janine Keff and 2 great grandchildren

She is preceded in death by her husband Wellington "Dick" Dennis in 1987, and a brother John

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Blessed Teresa of Calcutta at 11 AM on Saturday, November 23rd, .

Friends may call Saturday 10 AM at Blessed Teresa of Calcutta Mahanoy City.

Interment will be private at the convenience of the family at Skyview Memorial Park Tamaqua, PA.

Family prefers donations to St. Judes Children's Hospital.
