Manuel Garcia, 56, of Delano, passed away Friday, August 26th, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville after a short illness.

Manuel was born in Delano, PA on October 10, 1959, a son of the late Patricia (McAndrew) and Paul Garcia.

He worked for many years at Sealy Mattress Delano.

Manny was a past member of the Bears Head Sportsman Association. He had loved to go hunting.

He had graduated from Mahanoy Area.

Manny was the husband of Marcy (Mysliwiec) Garcia.

Manuel is also survived by a daughter, Brandi and her companion Mark Dunn, two sons Paul, David and his fiancé Molly Anne Sheehan, of Delano; and by a brother, Albert and his companion Carol Kruslicky, of Lansford, and Grand children Camden & Zennan Garcia, and Nolan & Mason Dunn.

Manny is preceded in death by his mother Patricia who passed away in June, and his brother Paul "Pez" who passed away in 1983.

Graveside service will be in St. Canicus Cemetery at 10 AM on Wednesday, August 31st, with Reverend Joseph T. Whalen officiating.

Friends may call Tuesday from 6 to 8 pm at funeral home.
