Louis A. DiGiromolo, 87, of Mahanoy City passed away peacefully August 7 th , 2022 at Lehigh Valley East Norwegian Street Pottsville.
Louis was born July 17, 1935 in Mahanoy City a son of the late Anthony and Rose (Ricci) DiGiromolo.
He was a 1953 Graduate of Mahanoy City High School and a Navy Veteran having served on the USS Bennington During the Korean Conflict.
He was employed at several jobs after being discharged and eventually went to McCanns School of Business and obtained a degree in computer Science. He then worked for the former Good Samaritan Hospital until retirement in 1997.
He was a life time member of the Mahanoy City ELKS.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother Carmen DiGiromolo and Nieces Amanda DiGiromolo and Carrie Museousky.
Louis is survived by his loving wife of 45 years Helen Museousky DiGiromolo, nieces and nephews Joelene Russel, Trisha Zola, Alyssa Museousky who were like his daughters, Tony, John and Bill Fazio, Russ, Michael, Nicholas, and Rachael Museousky, Michelle Clark, Anthony DiGiromolo and Annette Rossetti, who all loved their uncle Lou and his faithful Kitty Callie. He also had 24 Great Nieces and Nephews.
He is also survived by his in laws Connie DiGiromolo, Pat and Louis Fazio, Jack and Mary Jo Museousky, Francis and Dorothy Museousky, Thomas and Carol Museousky, Mary and Paul Fazio.
Louis was a very kind and loving friend to many and would do anything you needed. He will be greatly missed by all.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 am on Friday at Saint Teresa of Calcutta Parish, Mahanoy City, PA, with Monsignor William Glosser officiating.
Friends and family may call Thursday 6 to 8 pm and Friday 9 AM at Saint Teresa of Calcutta Parish.
Interment will take place at the National Cemetery Fort Indiantown Gap Annville, PA.
