Lois "Kizzy" Stitzer, 85, of Mahanoy City passed away Wednesday, January 16th, 2013 at Schuylkill Medical Center South Jackson, Pottsville, PA.


Lois was born in Mahanoy City, PA on September 8, 1927, the daughter of the late Harvey and Marie (Lieberman) Hinkle.


She was a member of the former Grace United Church of Christ Mahanoy City.


Lois was a 1945 Graduate of Mahanoy City High School and was also a member of the Mahanoy City Elks Lodge No. 695.


She was preceded in death by her husband Harry "Pete" Stitzer who died in 1987.


She is survived by a daughter Susan Ball wife of George of Mahanoy City, and twin sons Matthew of Allentown, PA, and Marc of Allentown, PA, and a sister Ruth Dunsavage of Allentown, PA.


She is also survived by 4 grandchildren, Joshua Ball husband of Allison (Cresswell) Schuylkill Haven, Vikki Ball, Mahanoy City, Amanda Stitzer, Sheppton, & Noelle Stitzer, Tresckow. 5 great grandchildren: Broden and Sonni Ball, Paige Matrishion, Jason Rentschler, and Tristan Kotsko. Nephews, Nieces and Cousins.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Mahanoy City Public Library and the Mahanoy City Visiting Nurse Association.

Family and Friends are invited to our Dear Mother's Memorial Service which will be held on Saturday, January 26, at 2 p.m. at the Louis D. Truskowsky Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Mahanoy City, PA.


Friends may call Saturday, January 26 from 1 p.m. to 2p.m.. Interment will be private.
