Kathryn L Zukas, age 99, of Barnesville died Wednesday morning at the Shenandoah Manor, Shenandoah. Kathryn was born in Ashland, the daughter of the late John and Mary Maier. She had worked in the local garment industry and as a nurse's aid at the Broad Mountain Manor Frackville and had lived most of her life in Barnesville.

Kathryn was a member of St. Richard Church Barnesville. She was the last of her family and is survived by her husband John.

The funeral will be Tuesday with mass of Christian Burial 10 am at St. Richard Church, followed by interment in St. Joseph Cemetery Mahanoy City. There will be no other calling hours.
