June Wentworth age 83 of the Shenandoah Manor 101 East Washington Street Shenandoah died Wednesday morning at the Schuylkill Medical South Jackson Street Pottsville. Born in and a lifelong resident of Shenandoah, June was the daughter of the late Anthony Cecchini and Gertrude ( Nee McCord ) Cecchini Durkin.

She attended Shenandoah schools, worked in the local garment industry, was a member of the ILGWU and the Annunciation BVM Roman Catholic Church in Shenandoah.

In addition to her parents June was preceded in death by a son John Wentworth. She was the hast of her family.

Surviving are Sons Ronald and Sydney Wentworth both of Shenandoah, and Edward Wentworth of Lost Creek. Two daughters survive, Mary Palulis of Mahanoy City and Pamela Onisick of Bloomsburg PA.

There are 15 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 6 great great-grandchildren.

Friends may call Wednesday July 14 at the Louis D. Truskowsky Funeral Home 300 West Center Street Mahanoy City 10AM until service at 11 AM officiated by Reverend Fred Crawford.
Interment will be in the Annunciation BVM cemetery Shenandoah
