June M. Mroczka, 89, of Barnesville, formerly of Delano, passed away Sunday, June 18th, at St Lukes Hospital, Coaldale.

June was born in Buck Mountain, PA on October 13, 1927, a daughter of the late Mary (Vivyorka) and Paul  Zakrewsky.

She was a member of Saint Teresa of Calcutta Parish Mahanoy City.

June attended local schools, and worked for a time in the local garment industry.

June is survived by a daughter, Natalie, wife of Charles Swokel, of Barnesville; two sons Andrew III, husband of  Margaret, of California; Rev. Thomas, of Minnesota; two sisters, Mary Laird, of Virginia; Irene Pupko, of Barnesville, and by 3 grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband Andrew, June is preceded in death brothers Al Petel, John, Peter, Paul, Andrew, Stephen, Walter, Joseph Zakrewsky, and sister Ann Fegley, and a brother and sister in infancy.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Saint Teresa of Calcutta Parish, Mahanoy City, at 10AM on Thursday, June 22nd, with Rev. William Linchorst officiating.

Friends may call Thursday 9AM at Saint Teresa of Calcutta Parish.

Interment will follow in St. Casimir Cemetery Mahanoy City.
