Joseph A. Toter

Joseph A. Toter, 87, a guest at Trinity Mission Nursing and Rehabilitation Center,ShenandoahHeights, died Monday at the center.

Born in Hazleton he was a son of the late Angelo and Jenny " Dorenzo " Toter. He had lived in Mt. Carmel for most of his life. He had been employed by Clark's Poultry, Paxinos, until his retirement.

He was a member of First Church of God, Mount Carmel. and the Kulpmont Fire Co..

He was preceded in death by his wife the former Helen Gorman in 1987 and by two brothers and two sisters Bridget Kutler, Anna Mashack, Dominic and Angelo Toter.

He is survived by three sons; Dennis and his wife Jill Toter, Shenandoah Heights, David Toter, Sunbury, Barry Toter, Shamokin, two grandchildren, Elizabeth and Michael Toter, two great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Private funeral services and interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
