Obituary
Joseph Savaika, 95, formerly of 222 E. Broad St., Tamaqua, passed away
Friday at Hometown Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Hometown.
Born in Mahanoy City, Dec. 20, 1913, he was a son of the late Anthony and Anna Dudonis Seveika.?
He served in the Army during World War II.
He retired from Container Corp. of America, Philadelphia.
Surviving are sisters, Anna Smulligan and Margaret Pandos, both of Barnesville; a brother, Anthony Savaika, Morrisville; nieces and nephews.
Arrangements will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Mahanoy City, were a white dove will be released in his memory.
