Joseph A. Recklitis Jr., 72, of Taylors, SC, passed away Monday, July 30th, at St. Francis Downtown, Greenville.

Joseph was born in Mahanoy City, PA on October 3, 1945, a son of the late Amelia (Metzger) and Joseph A. Recklitis Sr.

He attended local schools.

He worked as a truck driver, and loved traveling and spending time with his grandchildren.

Joseph is survived by a daughter, Reckell, wife of Brian Jenkins, of Taylors SC, and by two Grandchildren Calista and Uriah

He is preceded in death by an infant daughter Rhonda and his sister Joanne.

A Religious Service will be held at the Louis D. Truskowsky Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Mahanoy City, PA, at 11 am on Saturday, August 4th, with Rev Fred Crawford officiating.

Friends and family may call Saturday 9 am to 11 am at the Funeral Home.

Internment will follow in the German Protestant Cemetery Association Mahanoy City, PA.
