Joseph Kristopaitis, 41, of Mahanoy City, passed away Saturday, December 29, suddenly at his residence.

Joseph was born in New Boston, Pa. On July, 17, 1977, a son of Irene (Kristopaitis) and Eugene Kufrovich.

He was a graduate of Mahanoy Area High School class of 1995. He had been employed by the Mahanoy Township Water Authority and Mountain Valley Golf Course. Joe was a member of the Humnane Fire Co. #1 of Mahanoy City. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, fishing, shooting sports, NASCAR, and was a huge fan of the Philadelphia Eagles.

Joe is survived by his fiancé Nicole Killian; siblings sister Jennifer and Fiance Larry Scheib, and brother Eugene Kufrovich; daughters Deeann, Kayla,Bree, and Tamara Kristopaitis; aunts;uncles; cousins.

Friends may call Thursday January 17th, from 6 to 9 PM at the funeral home.
