Joseph P. Kopfinger, 68, of Tremont, PA, passed away Thursday, December 21st, while in the company of family members, at Lehigh Valley Cedar Crest, Allentown.

Joe was born in Lavelle, PA on February 12, 1949, a son of the late Rose (Sweeney) and Fredrick Kopfinger.

He worked in the automotive industry and last worked at Autozone in Schuylkill Haven.

He was an outdoors man and enjoyed fishing and hunting. He loved the Patriots, Atlanta Braves and NASCAR. Joe was a big fan of Bob Dylan. He'll be greatly missed by his cat Raphael.

Graduated from North Schuylkill High School Class of 1967.

He was husband of the late Linda (Perkins) Kopfinger who passed away in 2010.

Joe is survived by two daughters, Jody, wife of Bruce Rodgers, of Lehighton;

Mandy, wife of Shawn Flaim, of Mahanoy City; and a son J.P.

Joe is also survived by two sisters, Rose Wall, of Ohio; Patricia Beenick, of Pine Grove. 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Joseph is preceded in death by a daughter Jackie Rhodes, and brothers Fred, Franklin, and John.

Religious Service at Louis D. Truskowsky Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Mahanoy City, PA, at 7:30 PM on Wednesday, December 27th, with Deacon Dave Henninger officiating.
