Obituary
Joseph Britton, 75, formerly of Delano, passed away Friday, March 11th, at Schuylkill Medical Center East Norwegian, Pottsville.
Joseph was born in Jacksons, PA on November 17, 1940, a son of the late Veronica McCloskey and Daniel Britton.
He had graduated from Mahanoy Twp High School.
He was a passed member of the Citizens Fire Company and Delano Fire Companies.
Joseph was had worked as a Police Officer in Mahanoy City, was a prison guard at Graterford State Correctional Institute as well as a Shovel Operator for Pagnotti Coal.
Joseph is survived by a daughter, Renee Rang, of Barnesville; two sons, Joseph Britton, of California, Matthew of Shenandoah Heights, and a sister, Margaret Kaufman, of Barnesville, 3 Grandchildren, 1 Great Grandchild, Nieces and Nephews.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
