Obituary

Mr. John (Squeezy) Suritsky, 87, of Morea passed away Thursday, October 6th, 2011 at Shenandoah Senior Living Community, Shenandoah.

Mr. Suritsky was born in Morea, PA on September 19, 1924, the son of the late John and Kathryn (Brinsko) Suritsky.

He was a member of St Mary Byzantine Catholic Church Mahanoy City, PA.

He served in the U.S. Army in WW II.

He had belonged to the American Legion in Mahanoy City.

He was the care taker of St Joseph and St Mary's Cemetery Mahanoy City and had worked at the Cigar Factory in Mahanoy City

Graduated in 1942 from Mahanoy Township High School

Survived by a Daughter Sharon, and Sisters Mary Rzeplinsky of Morea and, Anna Kline of Frackville.

Survived also by Nieces and Nephews

Office of Christian Burial at Louis D. Truskowsky Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Mahanoy City, PA, at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, October 11th, with Father James Carroll officiating.

Friends may call Tuesday 9:00 AM until time of service at the Funeral Home.
Interment will be in St. Mary's Byzantine Cemetery Mahanoy City, where a White Dove will be released in his memory.
