Obituary
Joann L. Schropp, 75, of Mahanoy City, PA, passed away Monday,
September 27th, 2021 at Lehigh Valley East Norwegian, Pottsville.
Joann was born in Mahanoy City, PA on June 26, 1946, a daughter of the
late Anna Pauzus and William Peel.
She was generally employed in home health care and as a CNA.
She enjoyed watching LifeTime movies, gardening, socializing and beer
parties when she was younger.
She was married to the late Joseph P. Schropp on October 9th,1965 in
St. Peter's Church located in Reading, Pa. Joseph passed on July 21st,
1995.
Joann is survived by her Daughter, Debbi Didyoung, of Mahanoy City;
and her Son, Mark Benfer, who is now married to Susan Benfer, of
Mifflinburg, Pa; Her Sister, Priscilla Rzeplinski wife of Joseph
Rzeplinski, of Mahanoy City and two Brothers, Albert, husband of
Toni, of Michigan; Bill, husband of late Wife Leona, of Arizona, 2
Grandchildren, Shelby Watkins and Andy Benfer.
Interment at St Joseph Cemetery Mahanoy City, PA.
