Obituary
Jerome Kenesky, 68, of 215 W. Centre St., Mahanoy City, died Tuesday at Saint Catherine Medical Center Fountain Springs.
Son of the late Frank and Catherine (Peel) Kenesky.
Born in Mahanoy City, March 8, 1941, he lived in Mahanoy City his entire life and attended Mahanoy City schools.
He worked in the local coal industry.
He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Mahanoy City.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Francis, Albert, and Leonard Kenesky, and a sister, Dolores Kenesky.
Surviving are his wife, the former Jacqueline Kase; a son, Joseph Kase, Shenandoah; a daughter, Grace Kenesky, Sheppton; three grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Friday from Louis D. Truskowsky Funeral Home, Mahanoy City. The Rev. Fred Crawford will officiate. Friends may call from 9 a.m. until the time of services Friday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Sky View Memorial Park, Hometown, where a white dove will be released at the graveside in his memory.
