Jean Dixon Hocking, of Mahanoy City passed away very suddenly and unexpectedly on July 11.

Jean was very energetic woman who enjoyed life to its fullest. She was formerly the proud owner of the "Jean Dixon Dance Studios" where she taught dance to countless area children children in and around the coal region. She was also a member of the Park Crest Fish & Game Association.

Jean touched so many people's lives and will be missed by everyone who knew and loved her, especially family and friends.

She is survived by her companion of 48 years, Pete Miller, Gilberton, her loving son Rick, Lake Harmony, her sister Helen Tomko, Frackville and by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Services will be private at the convenience of her family.
