IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Jazmyn
Hauck
October 15, 1999 – August 10, 2021
Jazmyn Hauck, 21, of New Ringgold, PA, passed away Tuesday, August 10th, in a car accident in Dauphin County.
Jazmyn was born in Mahanoy City, PA on October 15, 1999, a daughter of Karrie Kerestus, of New Ringgold and John Hauck, of Tamaqua. She attended Mahanoy Area High School and later attained her G.E.D.
Jazmyn could be found most days hanging out with her friends and her uncle, Joel. Whether they were riding quads, going to music festivals, or rock hunting; she enjoyed spending time with them. Jazmyn melded herself to fit in with any crowd and was seen most as the central person of the group.
"But without the dark, we'd never see the stars."- Stephanie Meyers. This quote held many meanings to Jazmyn but is rooted in her passion for astronomy. Most nights she could be seen gazing up at the stars and moon. She watched for every eclipse, super moon, and meteor shower. Jazmyn was also seen quite often with her camera. She enjoyed photographing many things in nature as well as sunsets and sunrises. She found beauty in the world as it was.
Jazmyn was the perfect balance of Karrie and John. She wore her heart on her sleeve and wanted to take care of everybody and everything, much like her mother. She was unassuming and overcame obstacles with great stride like her father. Jazmyn loved them both wholeheartedly and will be deeply missed.
Jazmyn was the best friend to her younger brother, Mason. She provided him a great adventure daily. She taught him how to magnet fish, took him hiking to Bake Oven Knob, and swimming in the creek by their house. They fished together, would catch snakes together, and play video games together. Jazmyn loved Mason so dearly.
Jazmyn is survived by her parents as well as a sister, Tiffany Hauck, of Lansford, three brothers, Mason Kerestus, of New Ringgold; Tyler Hauck, of Tamaqua; Cody Church, of Frackville. She is also survived by her maternal grandfather, Michael Kerestus, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Jazmyn is preceded in death by a brother, Dustin Macieunas; grandparents, Peggy Kerestus, Joan Hauck, and Francis W. Hauck.
A celebration of her life will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 21, 2021, at her mother's residence, 33 Hughes Street, New Ringgold. Everyone is welcome to attend to share stories and pictures of Jazmyn.
