Obituary
Janice M. Pecika, 52, of Park Place, Mahanoy City, passed away Saturday at Lehigh Valley Hospital.
Born in Mahanoy City, Sept. 18, 1957, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Joanne Pribish Ansbach.
Janice was a member of St. Mary Byzantine Catholic Church, Mahanoy City. She was a graduate of Mahanoy Area High School, Class of 1975, and was employed at White Owl Manor, Mahanoy City, for many years.
She enjoyed the outdoors and riding quads.
She is survived by her husband, Michael Pecika; two daughters, Amanda Green, Barnesville, and Michelle Chilinskas, Barnesville; a son, Michael Pecika Jr., Park Place, Mahanoy City; two grandsons, Austin Green and Cameron Chilinskas; a granddaughter, Alexis Chilinskas; a brother; a sister; nieces and nephews.
Parastas will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday at Louis D. Truskowsky Funeral Home Inc., Mahanoy City, with the Rev. James Carroll officiating. Friends and relatives may call 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
