James Brady, 86, of Zion Grove, PA, passed away on Saturday, March 8th, 2025, at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville. Born on May 29, 1938, in Mahanoy City, PA, he was the son of the late Margaret (Malakuskie) and John Brady.

James graduated from Mahanoy City High School in the class of 1955. He served his country in the U.S. Army and later worked for General Motors as a tool and die maker. He was a member of Saint Teresa of Calcutta Parish in Mahanoy City.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Kathy (Walker) Brady, and his sister, Irene, wife of Thomas Harach, of Newark, DE, along with several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Saint Teresa of Calcutta Parish in Mahanoy City, PA, at 9 AM on Thursday, March 20th, with Rev. Kevin P. Gallagher officiating. Friends and family may call from 8 to 9 AM at the parish. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Mahanoy City, PA.
