Irene Kufrovich beloved mother and wife, 61, of New Boston, passed away Thursday, February 11th, at her residence.

Irene was born in New Boston, PA on August 18, 1959, a daughter of the late Julia (Fecko) and Joseph Kristopaitis.

She graduated from Mahanoy Area High School Class of 1978.

She had worked at Elbeco Shirt Factory Frackville and before that at the former Eagle Brothers Shirt Factory Mahanoy City.

She was the wife of Eugene Kufrovich.

Irene is also survived by a daughter, Jennifer, wife of Larry Scheib, of New Boston; a son, Eugene Jr., of New Boston and by a sister, Helen Bova, of New Boston. Also survived by her beloved cat, Puppy.

She is also survived by 4 Grandchildren Tamara, Bree, Kayla, Deann Kristopaitis.

Preceded in death by a son Joseph Kristopaitis, Brothers Edward, and Paul, and Sisters Joann Williamson, Mary Cammisa, and Margaret Lafey.

A viewing will be held Sunday February 21, from 1 to 3pm with a funeral service starting at 3pm.
