Mrs. Helen A Kane, 94, of Mahanoy City. passed away Saturday, March 13th, 2010 at the home of her daughters in Orwigsburg.

Mrs. Kane was born in Mahanoy City, PA on May 30, 1915, the daughter of the late William and Anna (Dunsavage) Kubilus.

She was a member of the former St Joseph Church and Blessed Teresa of Calcutta Parish Mahanoy City, PA.

She had worked for City Shirt in Mahanoy City.

Member of Golden Age, Senior Citizens. She enjoyed playing Bingo the West End Fire and Rescue. Also enjoyed reading, playing cards, and traveling with family
Graduated from Mahanoy City High School

She was the widow of James V Kane.

Daughter(s): Joan Loudy of Orwigsburg.
Marie Beauchamp of Orwigsburg.
Son(s): James Kane of Allentown.

She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren.

Preceded in death by brothers Joseph and William Kubilus, and one great grandson, Kyle Archutt.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at at Blessed Teresa of Calcutta Parish, Mahanoy City, PA, at 10 AM on Thursday, March 18th, .

Interment at Sky View Memorial Park Tamaqua, PA. where a white dove will be released in her memory. Family prefers donations to Mahanoy City Visiting Nurses, and the American Heart Association.
